On Thursday 8 October, three festivals in three countries published their 2027 line-ups on the same day, and a fourth did the same. Read side by side, the posters describe a single tour with four stops. That is the most useful way to understand the top of the South American circuit: as one shared booking, differentiated at the edges by who each country puts next to the visitors.
What was announced
The dates and venues are confirmed on each festival's own site. Lollapalooza Argentina runs on 12, 13 and 14 March 2027 at the Hipódromo de San Isidro. Lollapalooza Chile takes the same three days at Parque O'Higgins in Santiago. Lollapalooza Brasil follows on 19, 20 and 21 March at the Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo.
The shared top line, as Spin summarised the joint announcement, is Travis Scott, Charli xcx, The Killers, David Guetta, Queens of the Stone Age and The Neighbourhood. Below them, Spin's combined list for the three editions includes Rawayana, Sombr, The Prodigy, Fontaines D.C., Dominic Fike, Geese, Cage the Elephant, Raye, Lola Young and Leon Bridges. The magazine describes this as a first wave.
None of the three has yet said who plays on which day. Brazil's organisers have not revealed the split, Diário do Grande ABC notes, and in Chile single-day passes go on sale only once the daily line-ups are published, according to Emol.
The calendar is the argument
Two festivals in different countries cannot share six headliners on the same three days unless the acts move between them during the weekend, and that is what the Argentina and Chile pairing implies. The 2027 calendar adds a second pairing a week later. Bogotá's Festival Estéreo Picnic announced its own bill on the same Thursday for 19 to 21 March at Parque Simón Bolívar, with Travis Scott, Charli xcx and David Guetta as its three main names, La República reported. The Neighbourhood, Rawayana, The Prodigy, Sombr, Fontaines D.C., Cage the Elephant, Raye and Lola Young are on the Colombian poster too.
So the same headliners work Santiago and Buenos Aires on one weekend, then São Paulo and Bogotá on the next. Nothing in the announcements spells out the commercial logic, but the routing suggests it: an act travels to the continent once and plays four festivals, and each promoter books against a block that already exists. The cost of that efficiency is sameness. A fan comparing the four posters will find the top third largely interchangeable.
Where each festival differs
The differences are local, and they are deliberate.
Argentina puts a domestic artist in the top line. Perfil lists five headliners for San Isidro: Travis Scott, Charli xcx, The Killers, David Guetta and TINI, who makes her festival debut. Dillom and Usted Señalemelo lead a long Argentine contingent. The paper names DF Entertainment, C3 Presents and Perry Farrell as the presenters, and says Flow will stream all three days in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. It is the 12th chapter of the festival in the country, in the phrase Infobae used when the dates were announced in June.
Brasil marks 15 years in the country and adds Mochakk to the ten names its poster treats as main attractions, a name absent from the Argentine list. Criolo, Amaro e Dino, Nação Zumbi and Cat Dealers are among the Brazilian acts confirmed, according to Terra, carried by TNH1. It is also the only one of the three for which the coverage reviewed here gives a price range: from R$ 999.60 for the standard Lolla Pass to R$ 3,519.60 for the Lolla Lounge, according to Diário do Grande ABC.
Chile is the open question. Its 2026 edition was a turning point: the festival returned to Parque O'Higgins after seven years, drew more than 240,000 visitors at about 80,000 a day and sold out all three days for the first time, The Clinic reported in March, without naming the source of the figures. The same piece credited Los Bunkers with the debut of Chilean artists as headliners, and the outlet's follow-up headline described the road map for 2027 as a commitment to keep strengthening Chilean headliners. In the 2027 announcement as reported by Emol and CNN Chile, the names leading the bill are all visitors. The Chilean presence, which includes Ana Tijoux, Javiera Mena, Francisca Valenzuela, Los Tetas and a reunion of Gondwana with Quique Neira, sits further down. Whether one of them is promoted to a closing slot will only be clear when the day-by-day bills appear. CNN Chile counts 2027 as the festival's 15th edition in the country.
Bogotá, outside the Lollapalooza brand, differentiates hardest. Alongside the shared names, La República lists Arcángel, Avenged Sevenfold, Milo J, Khruangbin, The War on Drugs and Kasabian, none of whom appear in the Lollapalooza coverage cited above.
What to watch
- Day-by-day line-ups. Not published for any of the three Lollapaloozas as of 13 October 2026. Single-day sales in Chile depend on them.
- 12 to 14 March 2027. Lollapalooza Argentina at the Hipódromo de San Isidro and Lollapalooza Chile at Parque O'Higgins, on the same three days.
- 19 to 21 March 2027. Lollapalooza Brasil at Interlagos and Estéreo Picnic at Parque Simón Bolívar, again simultaneously.
- The Chilean headline slot. After Los Bunkers in 2026, the test is whether a Chilean act closes a main stage in Santiago in 2027.
- Further waves. Spin calls the 8 October announcement a first wave. Additions would be the place for each festival to widen the gap with its neighbours.
